This recipe technically worked to stiffen the clothing, but left white sploches all over colored clothing so they couldn't be worn. Would only use on white or very light khaki. Probably wouldn't use this one again.

Works well at less than 10% the cost of commercial sprays. Not quite as well as commercial sprays in terms of quality.

I tried this recipe of stir up spray starch and found it excellent,very convienient and very cheap as compared to the commercially available sprays.I also added a pinch of corn flour ,which made the clothes more crisp and nice looking .This is really a nice breakthrough in starching - atif

use hot tap water and stir with a wire whisk and use right away
