I found this recipe on the back of a bag of fresh stir fry vegetables and just loved it, so I thought I'd share. The ingredients are staples in my pantry, so this is a great recipe when I need a quick fix to add some flavor to veggies.
- 1⁄2 cup chicken broth
- 4 tablespoons soy sauce (or teriyaki)
- 2 teaspoons sugar
- 1 tablespoon cornstarch
- Whisk chicken broth, soy sauce, sugar, and cornstarch in small bowl until cornstarch dissolves.
- Add to tender-crisp vegetables and bring to a boil, stirring constantly.
- Cook until sauce thickens, about 1 minute.
For specialbekah -- if it's too salty for you then use low sodium broth & low sodium soy sauce DAH
Way, WAY too salty. I made it then had to adjust by adding water and a little more sugar to make it not so stinking salty!
