ingredients
- 3 cups fresh broccoli florets
- 1⁄4 cup butter
- 2 1⁄2 teaspoons lemon-pepper seasoning
directions
- Heat butter on med.
- Add broccoli and stir-fry for 3-4 minutes, until crisp tender.
- Sprinkle with lemon-pepper seasoning.
- Stir-fry 30 seconds more.

AHA! Another low-carb veggie side - and so quick & easy that my DS (age 6) actually made this all by himself - from washing the broccoli, to adding the lemon pepper. (All this w/ close supervision of course..) Thanks for sharing! Sometimes I over-complicate side dishes - what a breeze - and tastes great! A keeper!

I usually don't rate recipes unless I can give them a high rating; figure it's my error. In this case, I have no problem giving five stars because these florettes were so scrumptios. Used zest of 1/2 a lemon, sprinkle of Kosher salt and black pepper instead of the lemon salt mix. Never would've thought to prepare broccoli this way, but this is a keeper! Thanks!

After DH and I moved away from the farm, and to the city...I haven't done as much cooking and very little canning. But I do come to Zaar and look for new recipes once in a while. I'm still cooking Zaar!!
I like to play at Facebook, with my family and friends. A lot of my Zaar friends are there!! Yay! It's a good way to keep in touch.
We travel more. We're looking at the European trips now. Hope to go in the springtime. I really want to see London, I think I lived there in a past life, I've been obsessed with it since I was 10 years old!!
