Delicious! So glad lazyme suggested I try this recipe....so good! And it is so quick and easy to do. Thanks for sharing this recipe.
Delicious! OK I must confess, I got sliced mushrooms so mine is a little different, but no less fantastic. I sauted the mushrooms and shallots in butter and then transferred them to a plate and topped them with the crumble4d Stilton. I popped the dish in the microwave for a minute and it melted to a tasty blue heaven! I made this for ZWT #6 and I'm a Quisine Queen!
These were great! I made it as written for 2 servings. I liked the ease of cooking in the microwave. I will make these again when I need a quick appy. Thanks for sharing. Made for ZWT 6.
I made these after a Lazyme told me how wonderful they were and boy was she right! I used a little less of the cheese since my mom and dad don't care for Blue Cheese too much. They loved these and we ate them for a post dinner snack for Father's Day! I think they would be good to take to someone's house if you were assigned to bring an appetizer. Just do the final heating in the micro for 2 minutes and hot appetizers without using the oven! Thanks Twis. Made for ZWT 6 by an Unruly Under the Influence.
Wow!! These are sensational! I used 6 mushrooms to make an appy just for myself and wish that I had made more, lol. I mounded the stuffing mixture up high on the mushrooms but of course the cheese melted into the butter in the bottom of the dish. I ended up dipping the crusts of bread (from making the breadcrumbs) into the melted cheesy sauce. This is TDF twissis and is going into my Best of 2010 cookbook right away. Thanks for sharing this wonderful recipe. Made by an Unruly Under the Influence for ZWT6.
Super yummy for being all done in the microwave. Mushrooms and Stilton is such a good combination too. I had this for lunch with a green salad. Made for Zee Zany Zesty Cookz for ZWT 6.
Den.Den has declared this to be (in his words) "more then 5*****'s and why can't you rate higher then that?" I give it outstanding stars from the ease and absolute joy of putting together a recipe so comforting and so delicious with hardly any effort on my part. I have been so busy lately I have had enough time to devote to making recipes, but this one grabbed my attention as I all ingredients on hand. The little stalks of the mushrooms were just perfect finely chopped, and the only small change I made to this recipe was throwing in some chopped celery escapees (they were from a salad) just in with the mushrooms, shallots, and butter. Absolutely wonderful twissis, this went perfectly with the seared sirloin steak and a nice tossed salad. Thank you so much! Made for the occasion of *twissis* birthday.
