You are right, Mom's Tuna Salad. I have been eating this for about 55 years, and it's a great summertime treat. Try adding a little chopped hamburger pickle slices, and use the clery hearts with the leaves, and a little fresh parsley.
I am surprised I have not rated this recipe yet! I make this recipe over and over and over in the summer time. It is so easy, and the kids devour it, my hubby devours it and I must say that I also devour it! The only thing I do differant is I add a little shredded cheddar just because everything is better with cheese........right?
wowzers. This is delicious. I really like the addition of tuna to this salad. The flavor is fantastic and its so easy to prepare.... Thank you for posting....Stephanie
This turned out so good! I used miracle whip light, and I used about 1/2 cup instead of a cup. Just to cut down on calories. It was a simple meal and the kids seemed to ejoy it so I will be making it soon! Thanks!
My family loves this! I make it with medium shell pasta and smart balance mayo to add omega 3. I have never liked having a crunch in my tuna salad so I skip the celery and onion and just add onion powder. I have never used all the recommended mayo either. We love it - thanks for the recipe.
the very best tuna salad i ever had-thank you
The best tuna salad ever! The egg really adds to the flavour and texture:) It goes very quickly.
I'm obsessed with this tuna salad. Believe it or not, first one I ever made and I LOVE, LOVE, LOVE it. So simple yet addictive and just absolutely perfect after a day at the pool. Thanks so much Dee!
very nice flavour! I used green onion fresh from the garden instead of the vidalia yummmm!
Great recipe for a hot day. The only different thing that I did was to use scallions instead of a vidalia onion.
