This was just fantastic, and loved by everyone who tried it. Everyone wanted seconds. Didn't change a thing with the recipe. The extra sauce we heated it up, and drizzled it on vanilla ice cream...to die for! Thank yoU!

I have made this so many times, it is delicious and easy. In fact, my daughter has asked me to make it again for her weekend visit, so out it comes again. A winner! Thank you so much for this recipe.

This was very easy to make and the consistency of it was beautiful.First time i made it it was lovely but yes i found second time was even better.I did the caramel sauce as directed but then i served it with egg custard and it topped it off wonderfully. Thank you for sharing this recipe i am now going to teach my niece how to make it.

Since caramel is my hubby's favourite flavour, I made this instead of a birthday cake. It was delicious and he was a very happy birthday boy! Aside from using a bundt pan, I followed the directions verbatim and served with French vanilla frozen yogurt. Thanx Terese!

Lovely date pudding with a twist! I loved the ginger in it and increased it to 1 tbs. I also added a pinch of salt. I did think 1 3/4 cups of water was too much and only added 1 cup, and was feeling very lazy and skipped beating the butter, and just added it to hot dates for it to melt in there. Then added the eggs into the mixture and carried on as instructed. Easy, and the pudding came out wonderfully fluffy. Loved the caramel sauce and served it all with ice cream.

Wonderful ! the first day i made it, it was very good, the second was to die for ! all the family enjoyed this cake, even my sister who never eats dessert ! thank you so much ! I baked mine, in a heart form pan, i don't know how you call this in america, i made the caramel sauce, i put a little bit on top of the cake, something like 1 or 2 tablespoons and it was enough. We prefered to top it with french chantilly :p i WILL make this again ! i promise ! Oh, i added some slices almonds too !

Loved it! Was just for my hubby and I, so we halved the recipe and used a rectangular baking tin. Came out perfect, and oh so delicious! Only had chocolate ice cream on hand, but think some top notch vanilla would go down a treat.
