I used a whole banana instead of half of one. I also left out the xanthan gum. The shake was delicious! Thankfully, it completely masked the nasty-chocolate taste of the double chocolate whey protein.

I doubled this recipe & made a few other changes, but nothing major, I thought ~ I left out the ice cubes while increasing the water to about 3/4 cup, & I didn't include the xanthan gum! I also added an extra half of frozen banana! All in a good cause, I thought, since this turned out to be A GREAT TASTING BREAKFAST DRINK, & was something a bit different from my usual morning smoothie!
