    Directions:

      Place 1 tablespoon honey in each of six glasses and set aside.
    2. 2
      In a medium saucepan over medium heat, scald milk until small bubbles start to appear around the edges.

      Remove from heat, and add cinnamon and cloves.
    4. 4
      Cover and let steep 20 minutes.
    5. 5
      Return milk to high heat, and bring to a boil.
    6. 6
      Remove milk from heat, remove and discard cloves.
    7. 7
      Transfer some of the hot milk to a blender, filling it halfway full.

      Cover blender, and place a kitchen towel over the lid to prevent hot liquid from splashing.

      Whip on high speed until frothy, about 30 seconds.

      Pour into glasses, topping each with some foam. Repeat with remaining hot milk.

      Stir milk to dissolve honey.

      Garnish with nutmeg, and serve.

      TOTALLY GO FOR THIS! DH, DS and I are all sick and I KNOW we shouldn't, but this milk sounded SO comforting: and, it is!<br/><br/>If you like custard, you will love this at less than half the kcalories.<br/><br/><br/>1 14 2014<br/>This recipe slid down the side of the fridge and I happened to pull the fridge out today! What a treat on a cold day, or when you're not feeling too well! Super yummy STILL!!

      This was a breeze to make and the directions are written well. I made only one serving for myself and reduced the amount of honey significantly to one half teaspoon. A drop of hazelnut extract filled in for Torani syrup and what a delicious delight on a rainy afternoon sipping this beverage! I would have taken a picture of your recipe but all I have to show for it is a foamy Got Milk-styled upper lip. Thanks for posting! cg PS Next time I'll try this for inducing sleep as see how well it works.

      This is great! I used 1% milk and it was still nice and soothing. I let it cool down a bit because the house is warm, but we still drank it all! Made for 1,2,3 Tag. Thanks! :)
