This is a healthy snack that is tasty too. Very South Indian in taste and technique of preparation.
- 1⁄4 kg red pumpkins or 1⁄4 kg cucumber
- 1⁄4 kg fine burghul
- 1⁄4 kg jaggery, to taste (I like it less sweet)
- 1⁄4 teaspoon anise seed
- 1⁄2-1 coconut, grated
- Grind the pumpkin and mix all the ingredients into it.
- Keep aside for 1/2 an hour to an hour.
- Steam in a pressure cooker for 20 minutes.
