This is a healthy snack that is tasty too. Very South Indian in taste and technique of preparation.

Ingredients Nutrition

  • 14 kg red pumpkins or 14 kg cucumber
  • 14 kg fine burghul
  • 14 kg jaggery, to taste (I like it less sweet)
  • 14 teaspoon anise seed
  • 12-1 coconut, grated

Directions

  1. Grind the pumpkin and mix all the ingredients into it.
  2. Keep aside for 1/2 an hour to an hour.
  3. Steam in a pressure cooker for 20 minutes.
  4. Done.
