My favorite way to enjoy asparagus! Extremely simple to prepare, and of course, healthful.
- Steam asparagus gently until tender, certainly not mushy.
- Put asparagus in bowl, and squeeze lemon half over the asparagus until fairly well-covered.
- Salt, pepper, and/or butter are optional, but I like the dish as is.
Tasty, quick and healthy! Great proof you don't need to go overboard on seasonings with fresh produce.
Simple and tasty. Steamed in the microwave. Served with Easy Pan Fried Sole Fish With Lemon-Butter Sauce.
