My fiance's favorite dish! I skip the blue cheese and just use whatever I have on hand. I also add A1 and Roasted garlic

A great blend of flavours and a deliciously creamy potato topping: we loved this. My only changes were minor. I omitted the worcestershire sauce and added some merlot and I used cheddar rather than blue cheese (personal taste preferences). I'm glad I made the full quantity and look forward to enjoying some of this for tomorrow's lunch. Thank you so much for sharing this scrumptious recipe, barefootmommawv! Made for 1-2-3 Hit Wonders.

A really delicious and easy family meal.I made up the meat mixture the night before we were going to eat it.I used Stilton in the potato mixture, and after topping the meat mixture with it,I stuck it into the oven for about 45 mins.It was lovely...the peaks in the potato mixture had gone wonderfully crisp, while the rest of it was smooth and creamy. The meat was tasty, with just the right amount of moisture to it.the children also enjoyed it ( 4 and 2 years). Thanks Barefoot!Made for 1-2-3 Hits.

Wow! This is a winner!!!! I made as written -- using my favorite cast iron skillet. My DH loved this! The only small change I made was to use A-1 because I was out of worcestershire sauce. Still turned out great! Made for 1-2-3 Hit Wonders

This is so good! I saw it on 30 Minute Meals and made it a few days later. I did take a short cut by using canned beef gravy and added worchestershire sauce and used sharp cheddar since I had no blue cheese at the time. I also successfully froze and reheated this dish. I froze the mashed potatoes (omitting the egg) and meat mixture separately, then reheated the potatoes stove top to thicken up again and the meat in the microwave. I didn't bake in the oven after that, but I'm sure you could. It was still great!
