Oh my, sooo good! My husband said that he would've been very pleased if he'd have ordered this in a restaurant. I melted the cheese mixture on the stovetop like the recipe called for but left some chunks unmelted. We like blue cheese chunks. I made the cheese mixture about a 1/2 hr in advance then took off heat and it cooled until I was ready for it. I did the steaks on the grill (in -2 windchill, mind you) and re-heated the cheese mixture (with an added dash of white wine) just to warm then served over the hot steaks. My husband is not much for steaks cooked on the stovetop, so I did not follow the recipe as far as the water goes. Would NOT have changed a thing about how I cooked this. Cheese mixture on the stove (minus the water), steaks on the grill, cheese sauce heated up with dash of white wine, served on hot steaks. YUM!

High-end restaurant quality recipe IMO. I charcoal grilled the steaks so there was litte dripping to add to the finished product. Thus, I added a little extra wine. Also, I quickly sauteed the garlic before adding the rest to eliminate the raw garlic taste. My wife and guests absolutely fell in love with this recipe.

Awesome recipe. I highly recommend using top quality blue cheese. So easy to make at home and the end result tasted like a restaurant grade meal. I served this with home made potato wedges and par boiled snap peas. Thanks again, I will definitely make this again.

This was absolutely fantastic. I only made one steak, but I halved the sauce recipe and it more than enough for my steak. It was good on my french fries. I will be making this again. thanks for sharing.

I also only had a 4 oz container of crumbled blue cheese - this was so easy - added a wonderful zing to the steak - hubby who is not a blue cheese fan said he really like it,too! Great recipe, thanks for sharing it!

This was awesome! I only made two steaks but used the full recipe for the sauce. I did add some cream to the sauce and had the steaks and the lovely sauce with arugula and baked potato. Thanks so much!

We loved this! I am really cheap and used a crappy cut of meat but the taste was still great!
