This was super easy to throw together in a crunch. I marinated steak tips for about 3 hours and it was definitely on the salty side. But the meat was flavorful and next time I'll try low-sodium soy sauce next time...also, I couldn't really taste much else besides the soy sauce so I may reduce it and play with the other ingredient amounts a bit. But overall the dish was a hit, so thanks for the easy marinade!

I used this on a less-than-expensive cut of beef ;o) and it still turned out very tender and flavorful. It reminded me a bit of teriyaki and I served the meat over rice. I did use a low-sodium soy sauce but didn't notice it being overly salty (although I did also only marinate for 3-4 hrs). Thanks so much for posting!

I used the recipe on a London Broil poked holes in the steak and marinaded it for 4 hrs. It is the tastiest steak we ever ate. Thank you for the recipe and will be using it all the time.
