Steak, Peppers and Mushrooms, Oh-My!

What a great one dish meal to make for dinner! Serve over rice or mashed potatoes with a veggie or salad. Our favorite - served over brown rice accompanied by a salad and french bread. Yum!

  1. In a large skillet (or a dutch oven), cook meat, onion and garlic until meat is brown.
  2. Once meat is browned, add peppers and mushrooms and cook until tender (about 5-8 minutes).
  3. Add rest of ingredients to pot and simmer for about 20 minutes.
  4. Serve plain, with rice or with mashed potatoes.

Delicious. Simple yet fabulous

Great dish! I loved the ease in preparing this (biggest job was prepping the veggies, but that's therapeutic anyway!) The only change I made was to add the garlic with the peppers and mushrooms to avoid burning it. Served over rice with a side salad, we had a wonderfully healthy fresh meal. Thanks for sharing!
