My husband and I used this marinade tonite on a huge flat iron steak we had bought on sale. IT WAS WONDERFUL!!! We both really loved it and will be using again. Thanks so much for posting this. I really didn't look forward to another jarred marinade.
WOW!! this was awesome... only difference is I used jarred garlic instead of fresh. I cooked this on my propane grill but it really had the flavor of a charcoal cooked steak!
Yet another GREAT marinade from recipezaar.. I mean Food.com! This one was excellent. The only thing I did differently was use garlic powder, because I can't believe it, but I had no fresh garlic or even minced in the jar! It was still reallllllllly good! I posted picture of my christmas day steaks using this marinade. Added mushrooms and onions to the steak also. Thanks for sharing! Looking forward to using this again....
Just the ticket for a potentially tough London broil that I needed to cook up. I only had time to let it marinate for 2 hours. After grilling, the meat was really tender and juicy. I love that the recipe calls for ingredients I always have on hand. Thanks for posting the recipe.

Really Really Good! I used Elephant Garlic from my yard, sliced a huge clove into 1/4 inch thick slices and fried them up after in the same pan. mmmmm
This was a great marinade. I used it for a london broil and it had such a nice flavor.
This was just 'ok' for us. We marinated for about 4 hours, but didn't find that the flavour really added to the steak.
I made it exactly as written with no substitutions. My husband picked up two 2" thick strips at the butcher, and I made this marinade. I liked the flavor, but hubby wasn't thrilled. He ate all of his steak, but he said for me to try something else next time.
I added some honey.. a great and simple marinade.
