This is seriously THE best marinade. The first time I made it, I made it while my in-laws were in town. Everyone raved about it and said it was the best marinade they ever had, and I agree!!
This is a wonderful marinade! I marinated the steak for 5 hours and then cooked it in a stove top cast iron griddle pan. The steak had beautiful "grill" marks and was very tender. Thanks.
Loved this marinade. So easy to throw together with ingredients I always have on hand. Will definitely use again.
This is wonderful. I marinated a piece of London Broil for 2 hours and ended up broiling it in the oven (since I ran out of propane for my grill) and it was delicious!! The steak was tender and very flavorful.. Will definitely be using this again. Thanks for a super marinade...
So good, so good!! My family raved about it!!
This was yummy! I used it on chicken.
Very easy to make (which is important to me). Put the marinade in a resealable bag and the steaks overnight. Slightly scored the steaks to get good flavour. Cooked the steaks in a cast iron pan for about 3 minutes on each side. Lots of yummy charring happening :-) and the steak was still medium rare. Definitely worth giving a try and I will make this again.
I can't say this marinade did it for me. The mustard flavor was overpowering. It just didn't enhance that steak flavor. I used boneless strips and had them in the marinade for 5 hours.
Really wonderful! Tripled the recipe for six thick T-bone steaks and marinated for about 4 hours. I'm not a fan of vinegary/mustardy marinades, but this was the perfect balance of flavors. Followed cooking directions on Weber's website and the steaks were perfect. Will use again! Thanks!
Sadly, I am not sure what all of the fuss is about. I marinated my steaks overnight. I even pounded them beforehand (with the side of the mallet that makes holes). The flavor of the marinade did not come through at all, nor were the steaks tender. They were round steaks, which must be marinated to be grilled effectively, but 24 hours should have been plenty.
