This was a nice an easy recipe. I idnt have the beefy mushroom soup so i used a can of cream of mushroom soup and it worked perfectly. It was amazing and my wife just loved it. I experient a lot with cooking an this is one of the best so far

Ingredients Nutrition

  • 1 lb round steak, cut in 3 inch pieces
  • 14 cup flour
  • 2 tablespoons shortening
  • 1 (10 3/4 ounce) can beefy mushroom soup
  • 2 tablespoons steak sauce
  • 1 teaspoon garlic salt
  • 14 teaspoon pepper
  • 1 green pepper, cut in strips
  • 1 small onion, sliced
  • 2 tomatoes, cut in wedges
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese


  1. Coat steak with flour; brown in shortening for 4 minutes each side.
  2. Place in baking pan.
  3. Mix soup, steak sauce, garlic salt, and pepper.
  4. Pour over steak.
  5. Add green pepper, onion and tomato.
  6. Top with cheese.
  7. Cover and bake at 350°F for 1 hour.
