For starters, the prep time for this cake was inaccurate, it took a lot longer than 15 minutes. My family didn't care for it. I didn't think it was anything like the pound cake from Starbucks. Too many precious ingredients to waste on this cake.

I haven't made this recipe (hence the lack of stars) but I just wanted to express appreciation for how detailed the instructions are. Lots of thoughtful tips (like how to know if it's done for this specific recipe) make it a lot easier to replicate your results. Thank you!

Only had 1.25 cup of butter so that is what I used. Tunred out very well. Thanks
