I cant believe there is only 1 review so far. I have been making this for at least 4 years. No change at all, except I add the rind of 1 lemon. Exceptionally good!

This was such a tasty quick bread, and it was really quite moist. And the lemon glaze on top added a nice, sweet touch. I'm really glad I made this bread. Thank you for sharing your recipe, Pumpkin Pie's Mommy. Made for the new tag game, Name That Ingredient (in the Cooking Games forum).

This was very good. Didn't last a day. My 15 year old grandson who don't like cakes had 2 pieces and wanted more.. will be making all the time.

Moist and flavorful. I used light olive oil, the zest of two lemons, and no extracts in the loaf, and used 1/2 teaspoon orange extract, 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract and two tablespoons lemon juice in the glaze. My loaf baked for 40 minutes. Tagged for Best of 2013; tagged 01/24 and due 02/07/14.
