I can't give an honest good rating because the recipe has inconsistencies. It calls for 1 c milk and 1 c butterscotch chips but it doesn't say when to add them and when I made mine it came out tasting ok but it looked more like I had baked pancakes. I will try to make it and tweak it a little. If anyone else tries this and makes it and it comes out well then please let me know. I love scones! Hopw this helps someone else.

I was rather disappointed with this recipe as it was not scone-like, at all, more muffin consistency. Considering there was almost twice as much liquid to this recipe as most scone recipes, I suppose that is the reason. Also, there was no real "caramel" flavor at all. Perhaps if the white sugar was replaced with brown sugar that might enhance flavor. Overall, there was just not the depth of flavor to come close to the Starbucks scone.

This was a huge hit with everyone wanting the recipe. I put these in a mini scone pan and brushed them while warm with a plain glaze of 1 cup of powdered sugar and milk mixed until smooth. Definitely something I will bake from now on. Super receipe! Thanks!

My husband loved this! It was more like dessert than breakfast but it was a nice treat.

The directions never say to add the milk or the 1 cup of butterscotch chips. My oven about smoked me out from the parchment paper. All in all it was a rather disappointing experience.
