I%u2019m planning the St. Patrick%u2019s Day party for my daughter%u2019s class. I can%u2019t wait to make these..they will be a hit with the kids! Thanks for posting this recipe, I had placed the rice krispie bag in an airtight container, disposed of the box and didn't have the recipe!! Dgs and Dgd helped me make these, we didn't add food coloring, we sprinked the top with red, white and blue sprinkles for the 4th!

Cute idea. I have been making rice krispie treats for years but never thought to put "coloring" in them. I made these for Easter and everyone enjoyed them. Made for Spring PAC 2009.

After the marshmallows are melted you can remove the pan from heat and add some green food coloring and then stir in the rice krispies and you could use whatever color of food coloring you want.
