The Dutch way to fix Brussels Sprouts! I have updated this recipe after reading review.

  1. Trim and wash Brussels sprouts.
  2. Cook until tender in salted water.
  3. Press Brussels sprouts through a sieve or whirl in a blender. Or place in food processor and pulse till coarsely chopped if you would like some texture.
  4. Add 1 teaspoons.
  5. salt and the nutmeg.
  6. Stir in cream.
  7. Reheat if necessary, and serve with chicken or fish.
  8. Makes 4 servings.

The kids enjoyed this. DH & I thought of ways to improve it. I used 2 bags of steamfresh sprouts so it was crazy-easy. We thought there was too much nutmeg. Next time I would pulse the sprouts only until well chopped. It needed more texture. Made for ZWT 4!
