I gave this a 3 because everyone had a different thought about it. It was very cheesy ;-) Made for the AUS/NZ Recipe swap #21 October 2008. Thanks for a great quiche recipe.

For ease in preparation I used a ready-made crust, but another time would like to try the pastry as listed! Anyway, this quiche is VERY TASTY & a joy to both make & serve! Definitely a keeper! [Tagged, made & reviewed for a teammate in the Aus/NZ Special Recipe Swap #19]

I used a frozen crust I had left over from pie baking and substituted the asparagus with some tomatoes (only because I didnt have any asparagus). I did everything else to a tee. Delicious! It was almost too pretty to eat!

Very good quiche! we loved it, I didn't have any bacon in but had a couple slices of cold cut ham, so cut it up and used that. Lovely combination of ingredients, very nice touch putting the chives in the crust! (first chives from the garden this year)I will be making this again, a whole one! Just made half a recipe this time. Thanks for posting. Made for PAC 2007.

Excellent! I was a bit worried when I saw the list of ingredients that there would be "too" much going on.....not at all; the chicken, bacon and asparagus combination was wonderful! I made a mistake as well....I forgot to add the chives to the pastry - so I added them to the filling! I also used white asparagus, but I think green would be more aesthetic!! I made no changes, apart from my mistake - I suspect that the chives baked in the pastry will be sensational, I love to add herbs to pastry. A great recipe, which was a devoured by both of us! Thanks very much for posting this! FT:-)

This is a very nice quiche, and easy! I subbed some diced prosciutto for the bacon, and used fat-free half and half. Flavors were great. Thanks for posting this!
