I made this with extra hot Italian sausage. It was YUMMY!! I think my total cook/prep. time was around 40 minutes. I froze part of it, hopefully it'll come out of the freezer tasting half as good as it did fresh becaus this was great :-) thanks Bergy!

I used chicken sausage with spinach and asiago (sp)cheese(deli dept)Sam's Club.I chopped yellow, green, orange baby peppers into slivers and mint flakes amd dry basil.Ziti Pasta. Good flavor. I will try next time with Turkey sausage unsmoked and a little hot sauce. This recipe fits the bill with adaptions for my hubby's medical needs.I urge all to try the chicken sausage with spinach and cheese. I cut, slice, fry this product and it is wonderful when you can't have beef or pork. Thanks for posting!
