    Ingredients:

    Servings:

    Units: US | Metric

    • 1 head Lettuce, torn into pieces
    • 1 bunch spinach, washed and trimmed
    • 1 small red cabbage, shredded
    • 1 (12 ounce) can mandarin oranges, drained
    • 12 -20 strawberries, hulled and quartered
    • 2 kiwi, peeled and sliced
    • 1/2 sweet red onion, sliced into rings
    • poppy seed dressing (bottled or homemade) or vinaigrette dressing

    Directions:

    1. 1
      Combine lettuce, spinach and cabbage in a large salad bowl.
    2. 2
      Arrange oranges along inside rim of bowl.
    3. 3
      Place strawberries and kiwi on top of the oranges.
    4. 4
      Cover with onion rings.
    5. 5
      Add dressing to salad.
    6. 6
      Cover and refrigerate.
    7. 7
      Toss before serving.

      Followed your ingredients right on down & used the poppy seed dressing for a wonderfully fresh & satisfying salad! Loved the combo of fruit & vegetables here & will certainly make it again!       Thank you suggesting this recipe in my thread for what dish to take to a barbecue. I made this salad to go along with my pork kebobs (which I used recipe 17981). I used a bottled mango poppy seed dressing. This salad was simply delicious and easy to make. Thanks Ellie2
