Much better than anything I've ever bought as commercially prepared. Be sure to pre-test an inconspicuous area before using.
- 1 tablespoon ivory liquid dish detergent
- 1 tablespoon ammonia
- 1 quart hot water
- Combine all ingredients.
- Place in spray bottle, or an empty, clean dishwashing detergent bottle (like Joy, Palmolive, etc).
- To treat spots: Dab onto carpet and scrub gently with a brush; blot with dry white cloth to remove stain.
Great stuff! My grandson and I decided to go around the house and clean up any spots on the carpets that we could find. I had a bottle of Resolve and a bottle of this mix. We tried them both side by side. This won hands down! The commercial cleaner left lots of soapy residue and needed to be rinsed several times. This worked quickly and left no soapy residue at all. Thanks Fauve for sharing this great cleaner. Made for Chef Alphabet Soup Tag.
All I can say is WOW!
This works great! What a keeper! Thanks, Fauve! Made for Best of 2010 Tag Game as recommended by lazyme. This is going into my Best of 2011 cookbook, for certain.
