Ingredients Nutrition


  1. Combine all ingredients in pot.
  2. Bring to boil.
  3. Boil hard for 20 minutes.
  4. Then simmer until peas are tender (at least 3 hours)
  5. Strain fine sieve or blend removing bay leaf.
  6. Then reheat to almost boiling.

Today's lunch. OMG! It was delicious. I replaced 1/2 of the water with chicken broth. Split pea soup doesn't get any better than this!
