  • Preheat oven 350.
  • Cream butter and both sugars.
  • Add eggs one at a time.
  • Add vanilla.
  • Combine dry ingredients
  • Add to butter mixture.
  • Stir in oats.
  • Drop by tablespoon full onto ungreased cookie sheet.
  • Bake 10-12 minutes.

  1. This recipe is the best oatmeal cookie recipe ever!!!! I made them so many times and the family keeps asking for me they can never get enough.<br/><br/>Although i did alter the recipe, i added 3 eggs instead of two. And used 2 cups of oats instead of 3. This way the cookies are so moist they dont dry out.

  3. I used Splenda instead of sugar and I put a 1/4 Cup Milk in at the end so it wouldn't be to dry when I spoon it out. It is a great recipe. My husband loves them.
     
  4. Only use 2 cups of oats and substitute the extra teaspoon of vanilla for soda. Shape them the way you want them to look when they are done cooking. They way the go in is the way the look when they come out.
