I really tried to like these, but only really enjoyed them covered in chilli oil dipping sauce! I guess spinach maybe isn't our thing, or that steaming them wasn't the best option. I think they would have been better deep fried. However if you like spinach I'm sure you would be all over these - it's a simple, healthy recipe with great instructions. I will continue trying to convert myself to spinach though - thanks for posting!

Spinach lovers will love these! We enjoyed them in a homemade chicken soup. I used baby spinach leaves, increased the garlic to 4 cloves and added some five-spice powder with the pepper and salt but otherwise made these exactly to the recipe. Really delicious! Thank you, toni; I look forward to making these again.
add a little goat or cream cheese and a pinch of dill and i think its perfect
