This tastes great on a spinach salad. Would also be good on a cold pasta salad
- 1 1⁄2 tablespoons olive oil
- 1 tablespoon white wine vinegar
- 1⁄4 teaspoon pepper
- 1⁄8 teaspoon salt
- 1 garlic clove
- 6 cups spinach
- 1⁄4 cup red onion
- Combine dressing and toss with spinach and onion.
Great tasty vinaigrette! I mixed a little leaf lettuce in with the spinach and used tomato instead of red onion. Light and fresh and we enjoyed the generous dose of pepper. Thanks for sharing the recipe! Made for the Best of 2013 event, recommended by KateL
Simplicity rules! All loved this salad and simple salad dressing. This is the way Italians have salad -- just enough salad dressing to gently coat the salad. I chopped the red onion as I couldn't imagine measuring 1/4 cup of sliced onion. Served as the vegetable for dinner with The Best Garlic Shrimp Ever #494206 and Homemade Lemon Pepper Pasta #498868.
