  1. Probably one of the best Spinach Salad recipes ever!! I made this exactly as stated with the exception of using grated parmesan instead and cut the measurement in half for it. The dressing is soooooo yummy!! Thanks for a keeper!

  2. I was anxious to try a variation of my standard spinach salad and this one hit the spot! Loved the sweet and sour flavor of the dressing. I sprinkled a little pepper on the salad and Ooh La La the salad was brought to life!

  3. A real winner! I always order Spinach Salad in restaurants, but now that I have this recipe I will not have to! The dressing is amazing! I brought this for a Bar-b-que and it went over very well! I added extra mushrooms because I love mushrooms but everything else I kept the same. I am so glad that I have this recipe! It is a definite keeper--Thanks for sharing it!

  4. This has to be the best salad I've ever made/had! I'm not the biggest salad lover, but this was phenomenal! So much flavour! I wanted soft boiled eggs, but apart from that I made it exactly as the recipe stated. That dressing is to die for!

  5. I really enjoyed this as well. I added avocado and cucumber just for more vegetables. The only thing is that the dressing was a little bit strong for me. Other than that, great recipe!

Tweaks

  1. Very good salad. I used shallots instead of green onions and shredded pepperjack cheese. I also added some sugared nuts. The dressing tastes very light and tangy. I used red wine vinegar. Thanks for posting!

  2. very good! I added chopped pecans and finely chopped red onions instead of the green, and back bacon. My teenagers love this thanks!

  3. This was delicious even my kids loved it I used apple cider vinegar instead of white vinegar we prefer this.

  4. Yum, yum, yum! I served this with a veggie pesto pasta, and it was GREAT! We added feta, craisins, and sunflower seeds, and it was soooo good! To the earlier reviewer who tried to make it vegetarian, it makes me wonder about using bacon bits instead of bacon. I didn't realize until recently, but most bacon bits are soy based. I'd be curious to hear from anyone who tried that with this recipe! :)

  5. This was delicious. I did not put the egg in (personal preference) For the dressing, I did half Balsamic Vinegar and half reg Vinegar and put in Dijon mustard instead of the yellow one. I, also, added a 1/4 tsp of salt and a pinch of pepper.
