Spinach Salad

"A delightful salad with lots of crunch."

• Serves: 8

ingredients

• 16 ounces spinach
• 1⁄2 lb bacon bits
• 1 (10 ounce) can water chestnuts, sliced thin
• 1⁄2 lb fresh bean sprout
• 1⁄2 lb mushroom, sliced thin

• Dressisng

• 1⁄2 cup white sugar
• 1⁄3 cup ketchup
• 1⁄4 cup vinegar
• 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
• 1 cup salad oil
• 1 teaspoon salt
• 1 teaspoon pepper

directions

1. Wash spinach well and dry. Add remaining ingredients and store in plastic bag until ready to serve.
2. Mix dressing ingredients. (I use a jar with tight fitting lid.) Pour over spinach mixture just before serving.
