I thought I had the Ranch Dressing Mix, but to my surprise, my daughter used it for something else. I am a glutton for improvising, though, so I used Knorr Vegetable Soup/Dip in place of the Ranch mix. Talk about wiping out a crowd! Some of my coworkers asked me to come live with them as a live-in cook. Can it get any better than that! These are delicious.

I'm not personally a fan of onions, so I left those out of the recipe. This was a major hit with my family when I made them last year, and I've made them every holiday since. I've decided to spice it up a little this year by using a fiesta ranch instead! One tip for anyone not experienced with roll-ups: if you're having trouble cutting the, try freezing it first. It won't hurt the ingredients, and it makes it much easier to slice.

I live near Rochester NY with my husband and our 18-year-old cat, Fluffy. It's actually Fluffy's house, but he allows us to live here as long as we pamper him and feed him generously. Our daughter, Kree, whom some of you know from Zaar, is also living with us again while she begins a new business venture in real estate. She's the one who got me hooked on Zaar and taught me to try new recipes rather than stay in the cooking rut I was in.
In my free time I like to take long rides or sit by the water, both of which I find very relaxing. I also like to do counted cross-stitch and read. I dabble in photography, always looking for that elusive 'perfect' shot. I did more cooking before I started working full-time, and plan to again when I retire (still years away, but dreaming).
