  1. make roux with butter and flour
  2. add spice.
  3. add stock and milk.
  4. whisk until smooth
  5. add cheese.
  6. whisk
  7. add worcestershire
  8. whisk.
  9. add jalapeno
  10. whisk
  11. add spinach
  12. stir.
  13. can cool down at this point.
  14. to bake turn into a greased casserole
  15. top with crackers
  16. pour butter over top.
  17. bake 350 for30 minutes until browned and bubbly.

This was easy to make. I followed the recipe as.given, using a medium cheddar cheese. DH and I loved it and I will be making it again soon. Thanks for sharing a good recipe!

Dont be put off by what looks like a lot of ingredients, this comes together quickly and is absolutely delicious! I scaled the recipe down for 2, and I might add that I particularly enjoyed the celery seed in this. Lacking soda crackers, I used cheese flavoured potato chips, which made a very nice topping. next time I wont scale it down, we finished it and I would have really enjoyed leftovers!
