I like this more than the usual recipe mixed with the Knorr Vegetable Soup. The basil and oregano give it a really good flavor.
- 16 ounces sour cream
- 1 ounce dry ranch dressing mix
- 10 ounces frozen spinach, thawed and drained
- 1⁄4 cup minced onion
- 1⁄4-3⁄4 teaspoon basil
- 1⁄4 teaspoon oregano
- Mix and chill at least 1 hour before serving.
This recipe worked great since I had no Knorrs on hand yet had dry ranch available. A slightly different flavor than "traditional" knorrs recipe, but delicious. I also added 1 cup of Mayonnaise, diced sun-dried tomatoes, dried green pepper and some fresh cracked pepper to mine to add a personal touch and a more complex flavor.
