OMG Derf. These are delicious!!!! Derf's photos of these golden spinach cakes with oh so creamy looking cheese sauce made me try these. They did NOT disappoint! I used skim milk, whole wheat flour, and regular gouda as I could not find smoked. Delicious as is. The cakes are moist and fluffy and the sauce is the perfect consistancy and oh so smooth with just enough of a bite. Thank you for this incredible side dish. Too bad you were too late for RSC..this could have been the winner. :)person found this review Helpful. You can only vote others' reviews helpful or not helpful... Was this review helpful to you? These were very good. I was able to make the spinach cakes ahead of time and just reheated them in the oven while I made the cheese sauce.people found this review Helpful. These were really nice, although I think they'd make a better side dish than they did as a brunch. I didn't have any gouda so I used a mix of cheeses. Next time I'll have a go using them as a side dish! Thanks for posting the recipe!people found this review Helpful. You can only vote others' reviews helpful or not helpful...
