My 2-year old twins loved these sneaky treats! My husband could not believe they had veggies in them! I added cooked carrots instead of carrot juice. The brownies only lasted two days! We ate them all! We added a few dark chocolate chips before baking, they helped with the rubbery texture.

What a great idea! My 2 1/2 year old is always asking for chocolate but I try to avoid it as much as possible. My plan was to make a batch, and assuming they were edible, freeze the majority for an occasional treat for my daughter. Well...these little babies disappeared over the course of a few days, not just by my daughter, but by myself and husband, too! I did use apple juice as another reviewer had tried (thanks, Jewels) and it worked fine. The only thing that was different from regular brownies was the texture, which was a bit "rubbery", but the taste was great! I'm really happy to have found these little gems. I'll try carrot juice next time just for the added nutrients. Thanks for sharing this great recipe!

My 6 yr old daughter loved these. She likes spinach anyway, but this is a new, fun way to eat it.

I made these after seeing them in Parents magazine as well. A very sneaky way to get the veggies in - my kids had no idea. I didn't have carrot juice so I subbed apple and it turned out OK. I would like to keep fiddling with this and see what other healthy additions could be made. (Insert evil, but well intentioned, mother laugh...)
