I was a bit leary about making spinach/artichoke dip in a slow cooker so I decided to make a test batch at home before taking it to a pot luck. This recipe turned out excellent! It was so simple to make, put it in the slow cooker and stir it once every half hour or so, delicious! I am making it again this week for the potluck!

This dish was really easy to make in the slow cooker. The different cheese combinations come together very well. I felt that this dish needed some additional spice or something to really bring out the flavor. Other artichoke/spinach dips that I have tried added sour cream or mayo to add a little tartness, as well as, parmesan cheese which adds a little bit of a salty taste. I will definitely make this dish again and just play with the seasoning a bit. Made for the Tailgate tag, September, 2011.

This is so easy and everyone at the potluck loved it the first time and asked for it again. It's expected at the work potlucks now!

Having read the reviews I expected an excellent dip that required tweaking to deal with it's blandness, but this was terrible! I had to add multiple ingredients to salvage it.

I did not like this recipe! I'm sorry! The mozzarella made it "glue-like" and was more of a sticky glob in my bowl. It also didn't have enough seasoning - I felt that it was bland. So sorry :( I was hoping this would be awesome!

This recipe is great and so easy. I made it for a potluck and everybody who tasted it asked for the recipe. I could not fit all the ingredients into my crock pot so I simply melted them in a pot on the stove and served what would fit in my crock pot. I also added some crushed red pepper to give it a bit more flavor. This will certainly be a go-to entertaining recipe.

This is a great EASY recipe. Did it for Thanksgiving this year and it was so convenient to just throw everything in and let it cook in the crockpot while I prepared other foods. I used pepperjack instead of Monterrey and this added a great kick to this recipe. I also used half a package pre-shredded mozzarella instead of cubing because it was easier. Finally, to make this super easy I shook in garlic powder instead of garlic cloves. This was great and gobbled down by my guests.
