directions

  • Tear the washed spinach into bite sized pieces. Slice the green onions. Peel and section the tangarines and cut each section in half. If you couldn't find "seedless tangarines" this is when you pop those little seeds out.
  • Combine spinach, onions, tangarine sections and cranberries in salad bowl.
  • Combine vinaigrette ingredients, pour over salad and toss.
  • Serve immediately.

  1. This recipe was just what we needed. Thanks! We squeezed a tangerine for the juice for the dressing, but it wasn't sweet or sour enough, so we had to add some more vinegar and a bit of sugar. Salt too. I guess it was a juicy tangerine!

  2. Truly the best recipe for this type of salad. This is one of my favorite salads and my sister makes it a lot for family functions and it wonderful...this one beats her by just a little bit. Adding the cranberries really makes this salad complete. Perfect combination of sweet and tangy. Thanks for sharing this wonderful salad!!!!

  3. This was simply delicious! I love the tangy-sweet combination, and this salad is just about perfect in every way. I made the salad scaled down for one, but I made the full amount of dressing to keep in a jar in the fridge, because I like the flavor so much! Thanks, Graymare! Made for PAC Spring 2008

  4. Great combination of ingredients and the dressing is perfectly matched to them.

I am a nurse who lives and works in Northern New York State, not far from Lake Placid. I am owned by several cats and a dog. Quilting is my passion! I also like to cook, make greeting cards, read and spend time out doors. It would be hard for me to choose one cookbook that is my favorite! I love to collect cookbooks, especially those little spiral bound books produced by small organizations and local groups. <img src="http://i23.photobucket.com/albums/b399/susied214/permanent%20collection/PAC08Main.jpg" border="0" alt="Photobucket"> <img src="http://i250.photobucket.com/albums/gg271/MrsTeny/Permanent%20Collection/PACSpring09Iwasadopted.jpg"> <img src="http://i23.photobucket.com/albums/b399/susied214/permanent%20collection/adoptedspring08.jpg" border="0" alt="Photobucket"> <img src="http://i250.photobucket.com/albums/gg271/MrsTeny/Permanent%20Collection/PACSpring09Participation.jpg">
