- 2 tablespoons oil
- 1 tablespoon ginger, minced
- 8 scallions, chopped
- 1 clove garlic, crushed
- 1⁄4 teaspoon Tabasco sauce
- 1⁄4 cup water
- 4 tuna steaks
- 1⁄2 cup flour
- 1 tablespoon curry
- salt and pepper
directions
- Combine the oil, ginger, scallions, garlic, Tabasco, and water, and marinate the steaks 6 hours or overnight.
- Blend the flour, curry, salt, and pepper and dredge marinated steaks.
- Broil or grill for about 4 minutes per side and serve immediately.

This added a real nice, spicy flavor to the tuna steaks. I used Asian hot sauce in place of the tabasco. I added the curry directly to the marinade to eliminate the dredging as Chris suggeted in the description. I cut the recipe in half, which worked well. I, however, used only two scallions in the marinade and that seemed like plenty. Thanks for a nice meal!
