Yummy grown-up snack!
- 1 1⁄2 teaspoons brown sugar, sifted
- 3⁄4 teaspoon salt
- 1 teaspoon garam masala
- 1⁄8 teaspoon cayenne pepper
- 2 tablespoons butter, melted
- 12 cups popcorn
- Combine all ingredients and pour over popcorn, toss to coat.
Made this for PAC 2010. Sweet and salty, yummy.
Just got done munching this, and I really like it. I did not make 12 cups of popcorn, but mixed this up and just sprinkled it on top. Husband did not like at all, but he's not a sweet/savory mix kind of person... doesn't even like kettle corn, so what does he know? I like how the heat builds with this as you eat it, and the sweet is not overpowering, but balances nicely. I think this spice combo might be good on some sweet potato fries as well...
