Wonderful chicken! I cut it way down for 1 big chicken breast and cooked it in the oven. Lovely taste. I also used garlic powder instead of the cloves. Made for Everyday Cooking Tag Game 2014.
What a yummy way to cook chicken...I cut the recipe in half and cooked them on my George Foreman grill...came out perfect...loved the sticky sweet taste and the touch of spiciness...next time I think I will increase the chili paste...only because we enjoy the extra heat...hubby who doesn't really care for chicken gave this one a big thumbs up...thanks for posting it...=)
I have to admit that I just did not want to dig through the freezer to find chicken, so I grabbed the tilapia fillets. I only made two, so reduced the ingredients, and only let it marinate for about 30 minutes - fish will turn mushy, especially if there is anything acidic in the marinade. I pan grilled the fillets, and they turned out just wonderful. I used a Korean chili paste which was very flavorful and worked well with the other ingredients. Very nice with rice and veggie.
This was a delicious, simple take on chicken, which can become humdrum. It's nice to try different takes on yummy ingredients too! I followed the recipe as directed, though I did reduce, to only make 2 breasts, and they were moist and juicy. Thanks so much for sharing, weekend cooker.
Made this to take to over for a neighbor to grill for 4 of us! Used four 8-ounce breasts & then followed the ingredient list down for the rest of the recipe! Absolutely great tasting chicken! Everyone loved the wonderful flavor & a copy of the recipe is now being cherished by my neighbors! It's a keeper for us, too! Thanks for sharing it! [Made & reviewed in 1-2-3 Hits recipe tag]
Loved the chicken and always looking for new recipes. Come to think of it, I've cut up enough chickens to make me appear to be quite poultry savvy should conversation ever veer into that direction. Made for Everyday Is A Holiday.
Wow! The ingredient list does not equal the wonderful flavor that explodes from the chicken when you take a bite. I cut this recipe down to one serving, and I am so sorry I did. Granted, I only eat 1/2 chicken breast for a serving, so at least I have lunch tomorrow! Also, I marinated for about 5 hours, and didn't add the additional salt. Couldn't find chili paste, so I used a Sriracha Garlic Chili Sauce that is quite thick. Absolutely delicious! Perfect combination of Pow and Sweet. Moist and perfectly cooked! Thanks for sharing your wonderful recipe. It's a keeper.
