What an easy and fun snack to prepare and enjoy!!!! Dh very much enjoyed this as he watched sport, very more-ish!! And I had enough to pop into a jar and take as a gift to friends on Christmas Eve, where nobody believed I made it myself, lol! I intend making this as gifts again, since it was well-received and so very easy to put-together!! Thanks, JB! This was made for P-A-R-T-Y! Tag!

Really enjoying this snack mix! The sweet/salty/heat intrigued me, and I must say I'm not disappointed. Everything came together quickly and I added a few sesame sticks to the mix, as I had some waiting to be used. I only used about 1/2 of the sesame seeds, and that seemed to be enough to give a good sprinkling to all other ingredients. I did mix in 1/2 of the peanuts with the chow mein noodles and sesame sticks, to 'glaze' a few of them too. I then added the wasabi peas and the remainder of the nuts. I thought the spiciness of the mix was perfect, and a bit more heat is coming through the second day. My son even likes the wasabi peas, so kudos to you on that! Thanks for sharing a lovely snack mix, January Bride, that I'll make again and again.

Just made these and had a quick snack and took a couple of pics and at this stage the sweetness is there with just a hint of heat, which I expect to come through more in the next 24 hours. The thing I found unusual with this recipes is that the nuts were not cooked in the mix but became part of it and so far they have a delightful crunch. This is the first time I have tried wasabi peas and I like their crunch though bland of taste by themselves but go well with all the other flavours. Thank you JB, one I will try again (got to use up those wasabi peas) and if the heat doesn't come through as expected in this batch will just up it it a tad (I used extra hot chilli flakes - home made from chillies I had dried). Made for Edition 7 - Make My Recipe. UPDATE - 24 hours later the flavours have just developed oh so much would have to recommend you make this as a make ahead dish and have there for people to have with their drinks.
