Very tasty! I added mushrooms in with the onions and used rotel with lime and cilantro! Turned out spectacular! It was a little spicy but very delicious! Even my husband who does not eat tomatoes loved it!
We enjoyed this rather different type of pork chop. We thought the pork chops needed a little extra seasoning (maybe salt and some more cumin), but all and all it was a nice weeknight meal with very little prep involved and it was easy to make. We made no modifications to the recipe and thought the sauce had good flavor. We served Mexican Rice 117892 as a side. Thanks!
This was a great recipe! I didn't add the hot sauce just for personal preference. I found it to be a tad spicy for me, but I topped it with some sour cream and that helped. I served this over brown rice and black beans. It had a nice Tex-Mex style to it.
Five on the aroma alone! I needed to add green chilies to the tomatoes - never seem to find the tomato/chili combination here. A wonderful pork chop dish - as with PaulaG pork chops are definitely favored in our household. Made as posted using the hot chili powder and as I always do when not having the fresh cilantro used fresh parsley. Served with a green salad this made for a terrific weekend meal. Thank you for sharing.
Wow, we enjoyed this so much. Easy to make & so tasty. It was like having warm salsa on our pork chops. Will definitely make this again. Served with Rice With Chayote (Fritanga). Thanks Crafty for sharing this keeper. Made for ZWT4
Very hard to make a disappointing pork chop in my house. Pork chops are DH's favorite and he really enjoyed this recipe. The recipe has a nice touch of heat. The corn was canned shoepeg corn. Made for *ZWT 4*
Perfect in every respect! I made 2 chops and kept the sauce at the original amount. Thanks Crafty Lady 13 for sharing another keeper. Made for ZWT4 the Flying Dutchess'.
This is good.. I thought it was going to be too hot/spicy at first--but it was just right. I did make changes: I used Tabasco instead of hot pepper sauce I sautéed the garlic WITH the onions .NOT for 2 or 3 minutes but until the onions were brown and carmelized coz that brings out the sweetness of the onions..I omitted the cilantro coz my husband does not like it. I also used Slap Your Mama seasoning on the chops in addition to the chili powder. This is a keeper! Thanks Crafty Lady 13 Chef Judi Coleman
