I used this recipe for the first time in 2006 when I was living in Riga, Latvia for a year. I had a Christmas party for my Latvian colleagues, who had never had barbecue ribs. These were the hit of the evening. I go back to this recipe time after time, and it always gets the highest of praise. I wouldn't change a thing. Absolutely perfect. Thank you for posting it!
Very nice!! I was worried about it being too hot (my guys don't do hot at all!), so i did 1/2 chili sauce and half hot pepper sauce. It was flavorful but mild. I'll use more pepper sauce next time. I didn't think I'd like the sauce after tasting it when first mixed, but was pleasantly surprized. I really liked it too!!
Yummers! These were simple and oh so good! I made them as directed - but only made one rack for 2 of us. Although I like spicy, I started out with 1/2 of the hot pepper sauce just in case, and kept adding as I went along. I ended up using the full 1/2 cup, lol. Thanks once more Pets for a great keeper. I've used this recipe a few times now, each time altering it a bit depending on what I have available at home. This time I switched out the hot sauce for three jalapenos and added a touch of Worcestershire. Yum!
These are dynamite ribs Pets, tasty, tasty, tasty. Very quick & easy to make. Excellent flavour, the meat just falls off the bones, very tender. The sauce is lovely and spicy. Thanks so much for sharing.
Wow! These are so good!!! I made them yesterday and got a thumbs up from all! I made them jsut as Pets posted except that I finished them up on the grill. I was afraid that the hot sauce would be too much for me but it was just right. The meat just fell off the bones and it was a little hard to finish them on the grill. Excellent recipe!!! Thank you for posting a recipe that we will be making again and again!
These ribs turned out to be the best ribs that I have had in a long while. I made 4 lbs of ribs and my son and I ate all but 3 ribs! I will make this again soon. I uesed less hot sauce and more ketchup.
