This is a good recipe. Since i don't have a pressure cooker, i had to simmer the mutton in a mixture of blended fresh tomato, fresh red chillies, ginger, garlic, onion and chilli powder until the meat is tender. Then, i followed the recipe as above.

My husband is Indian and I made this for him and he loved it. The flavours are fantastic. Anytime there is a good recipe using a pressure cooker I'm in. I have two young children and don't have a lot of time to spend in the kitchen. Will be making this again for sure!

VERY TASTY! My husband is from pakistan and he loved this! With the pressure cooker (like the recipe says) it only takes 1 hour to 1.5 hours versus the standard 3-4 on the stove stop regular pan. It is indeed spicy but just cut back on the chili powder/chilis is all. I didnt have tomatoes, so i left them out and it was still delicious! ***I forgot to add...i put in 1 tsp garam masala versus 1/4 tsp as the recipe suggests!
