I make this soup once a week during the colder months. It's very flavorful and easy to make. You can change up the flavor a little bit by changing what salsa you add.
I made this for my family in only 1/2 hour, and by the end of the night IT WAS GONE.

Very similiar to the Savory Southwestern Soup (Savory Southwestern Soup-South Beach Friendly!)also found on 'Zaar. I agree it helps to saute the chicken breasts first. Easy and tasty.
Excellent and easy soup. I suggest you saute the chicken breast before adding, as last time I made this and added the raw chicken to the boiling stock, the stock got cloudy. Also, I disagree that it is too spicy, but I'm from Texas and we like things spicy. It's also a whole lot better with homemade pico de gallo in place of the salsa.
