Make and share this Spicy Mango Ginger Soup (Raw Food) recipe from Food.com.
- 1 large mango, peeled, destoned
- 1⁄2 onion, chopped
- 1⁄2 cup cold water
- 1 -2 small chili pepper, minced (or to taste)
- 1 lime, juice of
- 1⁄2 teaspoon fresh ginger, minced
- Place all ingredients in blender & process until smooth & creamy, adding more water, if needed.
- Chill before serving.
I just started the raw food diet and was happy to add this to my list of recipes. The texture is like squash soup but has a very nice fresh flavor!
This has a good flavor, but I added a little salt. And whew! Half a large-ish jalapeno pepper was way too much for little ol' me! Reviewed for the Veg*n Recipe Swap.
