Spicy Mandarin Salsa

"This is a nice sweet and spicy style salsa. You can easily adjust the heat of the salsa by adding or reducing the amount of red pepper you put in. This was on the back of a Wheat Thins box, and it does go really well with them!"

  1. Was gonna make this recipe just as written, but after reading Baby Kato's review, decided to include a bit of chopped mango along with everything else ~ Made for a great flavor combo, & I'll definitely make this one again! Thanks for posting the recipe! [Made & reviewed in Everyday's a Holiday tag]

  2. We really enjoyed this quick and easy to make salsa. It was very fresh tasting with bursts of sweetness and heat. I did double the red pepper flakes for my dh and I also added a little ripe mango, that I didn't want to lose. All the flavors and textures blended beautifully creating a special treat. I served with corn scopes, it was so good. I have placed this recipe in my keeper box, thank you so much for sharing this sweet & spicy treat.

  3. Made this for our pub menu to go with some salmon and it was very popular and delicious, next day I did add some lime juice and fresh coriander to zip it up a wee bit. Thanks for a lovely recipe

  4. Very tasty salsa, although the red onion overpowered DH somewhat, and he proposed that I add some cilantro next time. I loved the fresh taste to accompany some heavier flavors at dinner. 5. This salsa was very good. The flavor was just right, with a little bit of a kick but not too much. The colors are absolutely gorgeous. I found that this was best when made and served on the same day. I saved a couple of tablespoons to use the next day in a quesadilla. While the flavor was still good, the fresh ingredients had wilted alot.
